Installation is very simple. When you receive your fountain you will receive a simple diagram to follow. This diagram shows how the nozzle parts fit together. Make sure you put the fountain in enough water. This way the pump will always be completely submerged.
The pump is easy to clean. The pump box lid comes off. Then you can remove the pump and rinse it under the tap. Rinse the pump box as well, including the water inlet. If you need to get rid of any algae or slime, you can scrub the parts with a small brush . Then put the pump back in its box, close the lid and you're done!
It is a good idea to change the water in your bird bath frequently to prevent slime buildup. Note: Your fountain, solar panel and pump will work best when they are clean and free of dirt or debris.
